Before the modification, install both programs on a Windows 10 or 11 PC.
Remote access software. Allows our engineer to connect to your computer and perform the modification. Download the Windows (x64) version.

Download and install the software following the instructions above.
Plug the USB‑C cable into the controller connector on your bike and into the USB port on your computer.
Press the power button on the bike. The bike must be on during testing.
Open Bosch Diagnostic Tool. If the program displays bike information — the cable works correctly and you're ready for the modification.
Not every USB‑C cable works. Some cheap cables support charging only, not data transfer. If Bosch Tool doesn't detect the bike — try a different cable.
You can use a phone cable — an iPhone 15+ cable (USB‑C) or any Android USB‑C cable should work. It must support data transfer.
The battery must be installed in the bike and the charger disconnected during the entire process. The bike must be turned on.
